Matters of Heart

High BP at age of 25.

Raises an alarm right. And it wasnt small amount of high. Directly 100-180. A colleague in the MT batch had this trouble. And we came to know about it due to bleeding from nose.
I was with him in the hospital for checkups and a number of tests. Hospitals really suck. I wish nobody had to go to these places where u see pain everywhere. But i got to see the images of a working heart through some kind of sound waves based test. All the chambers and valves of heart were working live and practical view of something makes things so much clear. Beautiful. They should show this video in schools while teaching about heart.

While talking to him he said he still has to do so much in life and cant afford any kind of illness at this stage. This made me think that everybody has some plan or the other and we rarely make room for exigencies and plan B's. To hell with plan B, I dont have any plan A even.

Does it really matter to have a plan when u dont know when it will be your turn next. Had watched Dead Poets Society and was very impressed by the message. But still its very difficult to follow carpe diem in real life. And it backfires also many a times :(. And sometimes the tradeoffs or the costs are too high. Still it seems fine to have a last show rather than thinking all your life about what u could have done if had the courage at that moment.

And I am going to start exercise again from tomorrow. The learnings from chennai are reinforced today :). Health is the real wealth seriously. It really hurts to be dependent on somebody for even basic requirements.

And just listened to this song "afterglow". Really strikes a chord.
